The human diet has evolved to enormous consumption of processed foods, refined and containing chemicals, pesticides, artificial components, many of which I cannot say, let alone understand unless I look it up on the internet!!
I have a basic rule of thumb, if there is ingredients in the food that I cannot pronounce or do not know, I steer away!! In addition, much research has been published regarding the deficiency of our soils in basic minerals, such as selenium, vital for Thyroid health, amongst other things.
